Lights Christmas is a free mobile game, where a funny, entertaining and enjoyable adventure is mixed out with different challenges, lot of Lights Out puzzles awaits you in-game, you will need to solve them in order to progress. While Santa starts the Christmas preparations, a mysterious character will try to stop it stealing a very important and key piece… You will need to complete and get over each puzzle in order to help Santa with his preparations, do it on the double and save the Christmas, and so, defeat the villain. The original game is usually marketed in a 5×5 board and you can find it in different formats, from mechanical keyboard, that turns on and off on push, or even in digital format. It was initially launched in digital format by Tiger Electronics in 1995 on game.com platform. Lights Out puzzle is solved by turning all the lights off, but bear in mind that by touching a cell, it will toggle as well as the four adjacent ones, in a “+” mark, it means that the top and bottom cells as well as the one on the left and on the right. It seems easy right? But at the moment of truth, it is a kind of a jigsaw puzzle that changing the incorrect cells can become a much more complicated and difficult one… a real challenge! But Lights Out is not only a puzzle, it can also be an indirect way of doing mathematics, if we change the states of the lights to “0” and “1” it becomes algebra in as many matrices as levels has the game, and geometry if, instead of looking at the game in the form of a matrix we look for already know shapes that we can easily solve. The principal modification from the original game is the dynamic that is achieved by using Santa’s story as a unifying thread. The scene is split in two: the superior zone, where the adventure happens, and the inferior, where the puzzle is displayed See you in game!
